Rohit Gijare is a dynamic choreographer, dancer, actor, and content creator with over 15 years of experience in the global dance and entertainment industry. Trained in Kathak, Hip Hop, Garba, Street Jazz, Commercial Bollywood, and a range of traditional Indian folk styles, Rohit is distinguished by his seamless ability to fuse classical precision with contemporary flair.

Rohit's stage and screen credits reflect both range and impact. He served as Dance Captain and Ensemble Cast Member in Yash Raj Films' Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical, directed by Aditya Chopra and premiered in San Diego, and as Associate Choreographer for Mira Nair's Monsoon Wedding: The Musical, bringing vibrant South Asian storytelling to the theatrical stage.

In the digital space, Rohit rose to prominence as Associate Choreographer and Lead Dancer for the viral "Chavva" video alongside Lauren Gottlieb, captivating millions with his performance. His live credits include dancing at Lincoln Center's Garba showcase with SA Dance Company, performing alongside Terence Lewis at Diwali at Times Square, and assisting choreographer Nakul Dev Mahajan on an episode of So You Think You Can Dance.

A finalist in Dance India Dance North America, Rohit has built a career defined by artistic leadership. He served as Director of Choreography for the acclaimed touring production Bollywood Boulevard (2017–2019), which premiered at Lincoln Center, and headlined as Choreographer and Principal Dancer for Mystic India: The World Tour. He also choreographed the NBA Halftime Show for the Philadelphia 76ers, bringing high-energy Indian dance to a global sports stage.

Beyond performance, Rohit has established himself as a sought-after global dance educator and content creator, touring and teaching workshops across the USA, London, Europe, India, and beyond. His dynamic teaching style and innovative choreography have cultivated a loyal, worldwide following — reflected in a growing digital community of 120K+ followers on Instagram, 400K+ subscribers on YouTube, and 55K+ followers on TikTok.

He is currently starting work on a brand new one-of-a-kind show - The Many Deaths of Laila Starr will be the first ever South Asian opera, choreographed by Rohit and premiering in the fall at the prestigious Minnesota Opera.
